We’re delighted to announce the successful conduct of the 1st Quarter Joint Council Meeting of MPOC, MADAC, LCAT, VAWC, MCPC, GFPS, LDRRMC, ESWMB, LTIAC, and PMC at the ECB Jr. Clubhouse in Poblacion, Pudtol, Apayao. Mayor Hector Reuel D. Pascua and Administrator Aprilla M. Camilot led the insightful discussions, highlighting the remarkable accomplishments of all councils.
A key agenda was the meticulous preparation for the upcoming Cordillera Administrative Region Athletic Association (CARAA), which will be proudly hosted by the Province of Apayao. The meeting focused on ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of playing venues and billeting schools, with Pudtol set to host the esteemed Ifugao delegation.
Mayor Pascua passionately urged all barangays to actively assist in the preparation, emphasizing the importance of community involvement. Additionally, he encouraged the business sector to seize the economic opportunities presented by CARAA.
Furthermore, Mayor Pascua and Vice Mayor Randy A. Laoat spearheaded the distribution of stretchers to all barangays, underscoring their commitment to community welfare. The meeting was attended by LGU Top Management, Department Heads, Sangguniang Bayan Members, Punong Barangays, PNP, BFP, DepEd and other NLAs.
